Winegrowers

a fancy name for farmers

Although Bill grew up in Eastern Oregon and Shari in Wichita, Kansas, we eventually met in Portland and married in Houston, Texas, where our adventure began. After extensive travel and living abroad we have settled in the Willamette Valley to reside, near family, friends and our vineyard. We’ve been blessed with successful professional careers in the IT industry, yet we feel a strong pull to thrive from the earth, a simple fulfillment that is only found from the annual renewal of life through growing grapes. We both get excited getting our “hands dirty” as vineyard owners.

We believe Ten Peaks Vineyard came to us due to our faith driven life. Vineyards are ancient and biblical and for this reason we believe we have been given a gift of the ages. We chose the name Ten Peaks from the surrounding coastal mountain range peaks.

We are  members of the Oregon Winegrowers Association and are active within the wine industry community, not only pursuing the shared interest of wine growers but also being part of the team that brings high quality wines to Oregon.
